Songs of Glimmerwick: Songs and Spell Effects

Use Song of Tilling for soil, Chant of the Woodcutters for dead trees, Melody of Stones for rocks, and Rain Dance for watering; use Song of Silence for cursed objects and Tangleknot Remover at the forest wall. The cited spell list leaves two acquisition routes unknown.

Garden and gathering songs

The Fextralife spell reference describes Song of Tilling as preparing soil, Chant of the Woodcutters as enchanting an axe to turn dead trees into logs, Melody of Stones as enchanting a pickaxe to break rocks, Rain Dance as summoning a watering cloud, and Whirlwind Aria as harvesting ripe plants along its path. These are effect descriptions from a community reference page last edited 6 Oct 2026; it does not declare a game build or a complete controller-button map.

Story and obstacle songs

The cited list assigns Song of Silence to cursed objects, Song of Earth to raising ground, Tangleknot Remover to Nettleine’s wall, Song of Waking to waking Leafkin, Restoration Round to repairing shrines, and Desolation Dirge to destroying shrines. It lists Lakedew Lily Song for growing the lily, Hymn of Sea’s Abyss for raising objects from the ocean, Fish Trap Refrain for placing a trap near fish, and Alchemical Resonance as a song that attempts to turn objects to gold. Festival Song and Clary’s Challenge are performance/practice entries; Band Practice prepares the first band performance; Sandcastle Jingle turns a sand pile into a castle; Ballad of Growth grows ancient kelp; Snowpile Jingle turns a snow pile into a sculpture. Follow the quest’s own target prompt: these effects do not imply one shared range or target rule.

Where the guide says to learn key songs

The same reference places Song of Tilling and Chant of the Woodcutters in Clary’s Campus Career lesson; Melody of Stones in the first music class on Spring 3; Festival Song in Secondary Musical Craft on Summer 9; Clary’s Challenge in Technical Spells on Fall 5; Sandcastle Jingle with Fern at Seaflower Festival; Band Practice in Antoine and the Band; Song of Waking in the Winter Study Session; Rain Dance in The Tool Thief; Song of Earth after freeing Codrin in Fairy Ring; Restoration Round and Desolation Dirge in Ancient Shrines; and Whirlwind Aria after restoring three shrines. It places Song of Silence in The Cursed Mill, Fish Trap Refrain in Mel’s Journey, Lakedew Lily Song in Briny Bathhouse, Hymn of Sea’s Abyss in Lighthouse Keeper, Tangleknot Remover in The Secret Key, Harp of Six at the Nocturne Forest centre, and Alchemical Resonance for sale from the Alchemist for 300 petals. Its list says it knows no learning route for Ballad of Growth or Snowpile Jingle. Treat those two routes as unresolved in that 6 Oct snapshot, not proof they are unobtainable in every later build.

Antoine’s Supporter Pack MP3 is not a spell entry

Version 1.09 says Antoine’s song was added to the Supporter Pack MP3s. That is an audio-pack change in the official patch notes; the note does not say a new castable song was added to the in-game spellbook. The community spell list was not retested against 1.09.
