Songs of Glimmerwick: Flute Types and Dialogue Choices

At Bristlecone, these documented 1,000-year answer combinations produce the six named flute types: Cobalt Juniper, Elder Rosemary, Ghost Pine, Ochrebark, Rusted Oak and Wenge. No reviewed source establishes a best-stat flute or confirms a later swap.

One listed combination for each flute

The NoobFeed answer table gives these reproducible combinations at Bristlecone: Cobalt Juniper — Acorn, Salted, Sea, 1,000 years; Elder Rosemary — Acorn, Pickled, Sea, 1,000 years; Ghost Pine — Crystal, Pickled, Sea, 1,000 years; Ochrebark — Crystal, Salted, Rain, 1,000 years; Rusted Oak — Crystal, Salted, Sea, 1,000 years; Wenge — Acorn, Salted, Rain, 1,000 years. The article is dated 14 Oct 2026 and does not state the game version.

The table proves names, not a strongest build

NoobFeed maps answer combinations to flute names and says the final 1,000-years answer reportedly does not affect the type. A separate demo-player report describes an icon difference but does not establish a stat bonus, best combination, or full-game behavior. Therefore, do not choose a flute for an assumed mana, spell-power or progression bonus.

Later flute changes remain unconfirmed

The sources reviewed do not demonstrate a way to exchange the starting flute later. That is an evidence gap, not proof that no such option exists. Version 1.09’s announcement lists no flute-choice change; the mappings have not been replayed in 1.09.
