Songs of Glimmerwick: Crafting and Schematics
Unlock a schematic, meet its Carpentry level, and supply its materials; purchasing a pattern alone does not satisfy the crafting requirements.
Get the opening schematics
During the first-day introduction at Practical Practice, complete Nalin’s Skill Trinket conversation and speak to him again to receive the opening schematic booklet, which includes Stone Path and Garden Lantern. The shop also offers its crafting table; later, use the shop dialogue to browse additional schematics.
Check all three crafting requirements
At a crafting table, the Craft action requires the schematic to be learned, enough listed ingredients, and the displayed Carpentry progression. A shop purchase only adds the schematic after you pay; it does not waive the later level or material requirements. If Craft is unavailable, compare the recipe’s materials and Carpentry level before buying another copy.
Keep crafting separate from brewing
Furniture, habitats, and other schematics use the crafting table. Potions use a potion practice station and cauldron, with their own learned-recipe and mastery requirements. Do not look for a potion recipe in the furniture schematic shop.
