Songs of Glimmerwick: Classes and Lessons

Check your letters and calendar for each lesson. In one player’s first year, the first three lessons were Spring 3–5 in the Music Hall, Potions Lab and greenhouse; dates can shift with quest progress.

Find the first lessons

A player’s dated walkthrough records Introductory Musical Craft in the Music Hall on Spring 3, Potions 101 in the Potions Lab on Spring 4, and Intro to Herbotany in the greenhouse on Spring 5. The same run records Potions 102 on Spring 10. The writer warns that calendar dates can change with quest progress, so use the active calendar and letter if your save differs.

Plan around later lessons

The same run records Continued Herbotany on Summer 2, Creatures Workshop on Summer 3, Advanced Potions on Summer 4, Secondary Musical Craft on Summer 9, Technical Spells on Fall 5, and Potionwork as Art on Fall 11. The first music class teaches Melody of Stones; the first potions class teaches Hardiness. Treat these dates as an observed route, not a guarantee for every quest state. The source does not establish a room for every later lesson; consult that lesson’s current prompt.

If a lesson seems overdue

In an April 2026 demo discussion, Eastshade Studios explained that an important event pauses the clock and must be attended before time advances. That is the developer’s description of the intended system, not a test of every lesson in version 1.09. If your event marker is active, follow its prompt; no reliable recovery procedure for an actually skipped or broken class was verified. Version 1.09 fixed an issue with classmates missing in Fall, but its note does not guarantee recovery of every save.
