Songs of Glimmerwick: Where to Find the Alchemist
For Ghost Treasure, look for the Alchemist by the garden entrance. After finding the cabin and stone note, talk to him about trying Alchemical Resonance for 300 Gold Petals.
Find the Alchemist
A Japanese player’s quest journal places the Alchemist at the entrance to the garden; an English player independently reports buying the song from him in front of the garden. Exact daily hours were not established by those accounts. If he is absent, check the active Ghost Treasure objective and return later rather than relying on an unverified timetable.
Ask to try the song
The English player reports that, after finding the cabin and the note about the stone in Ochre Woods, they spoke to the Alchemist several times, asked to try his song and paid 300 Gold Petals. The Japanese player’s record also describes paying 300. If the purchase option is missing, check those quest steps and dialogue first; the sources do not establish that this fixes every save.
Pin and play at the stone
The English player reports pinning Alchemical Resonance and playing it in front of the marked stone without first learning it in a practice room. The Japanese quest record locates the matching stone southwest of Wisk and reports obtaining the Moonstone. Another player in the same Steam thread says the cast did nothing in their save, so the steps are a reported solution, not a guaranteed repair for a stuck quest.
