Songs of Glimmerwick: Characters and Quest Connections
Use character routines for ordinary days and the active quest/calendar for exceptions; key story contacts include Fern, Azara the lighthouse keeper, Rowan the Etchery caretaker, and Elma in the Winter Practical.
A few useful character roles
Fern connects Tea for Fern and Strange Pamphlets to the Green Sprites and the Harp of Six story. Azara is the lighthouse keeper who starts Lighthouse Keeper by asking for fresh food; Rowan is the Etchery caretaker. Elma is the Leafkin who receives the finished Root Day wreath in the Winter Practical. These examples help distinguish quest roles; they are not a complete cast list.
Schedules have story exceptions
The character reference gives ordinary locations and time windows, but explicitly warns that classes, festivals, quests, winter routines, and story progress can move people. Check the in-game calendar and your journal before treating a missing character as a bug; the schedule page is not a live tracker for your save.
Version 1.09 and Fall classmates
Version 1.09, released 28 October 2026, fixed an issue with classmates missing in Fall and a separate case where Zinnia could be missing for Harp of Six after Fern’s Confrontation followed the heist. The notes identify those conditions only; they do not prove every absent character or blocked quest is fixed.
