Match the symptom to the 1.09 notes
Update to Version 1.09 before troubleshooting a matching issue. Its 28 October 2026 notes say it fixed classmates missing in Fall; a conflict between Fern’s Confrontation and Seaflower Festival; Zinnia missing for Harp of Six if Fern’s Confrontation is completed after the heist; a fishing issue after switching between controller and mouse and keyboard; and Nora lacking the mud-pie delivery option while at the treehouse. For a missed Florian fish reward, Eastshade separately identified a controller quick-transfer bug fixed in 1.06 and supplied a recovery for a missed Gilded Toadstool; see console status. These are named conditions, not a universal quest-reset procedure.
If the symptom remains
Record the exact quest and objective, the last action before it stopped, your input device, and the displayed game version. The announcement calls these issues fixed but does not say that every existing save is repaired retroactively. Recheck the same objective after updating before replaying a long quest chain; keep the save state available and contact the developer’s support route if a named symptom persists.
