Songs of Glimmerwick: Demo Availability and Save Questions
Steam still lists the free demo, and the developer’s demo announcements say progress carries into the full game. To resume on PC, check Continue in the full game; players reported demo autosaves appearing there, but reports do not establish a guaranteed fix for every missing save.
Demo availability and stated carryover
The Steam store lists a free demo. Eastshade’s demo announcements describe it as the opening portion (the June Next Fest post says over two hours) and say the demo save can continue in the full release. The official announcement is the carryover statement; it does not give a manual save-file migration procedure.
Where to look if you already played
A September 2026 player discussion reports that the demo save appeared in the full game’s Continue menu, including after the demo had been removed. Another player initially could not find it, and the replies do not establish a universal repair. Start by checking Continue in the full game. If the save is missing, keep the demo installation and local saves intact while seeking official support; the thread’s Steam Cloud explanation is user speculation, not a confirmed cause.
