Songs of Glimmerwick: How to Cook
Combine Flour and water in your inventory to make Dough, add a recipe ingredient, then cook the resulting mixture at a fire. For a Blueberry Bun, combine Dough with Blueberry or Wild Blueberries before baking it.
Make an uncooked mixture
For a dough-based dish, combine Flour with water from a Watering Can in your inventory to make Dough. Add the ingredient required by the dish. The Ferry Girl walkthrough gives a concrete example: Dough plus Blueberry or Wild Blueberries makes Blueberry Dough, the uncooked step for a Blueberry Bun.
Use a cooking fire
NoobFeed's beginner guide says the Common Room fireplace can cook food: put the mixture in its cooking slot, water it and wait for it to bake. The Ferry Girl walkthrough identifies a cook fire beside the Garden near the shed for its bun. Collect the finished food after cooking; a named dough or batter is the intermediate mixture, not the finished dish.
If the dish is still uncooked
Check that you combined the correct ingredient with Dough before using the cooking slot and that you collected the finished item rather than the mixture. The cited guides describe individual fires and recipes; they do not establish a universal cooking unlock or prove that every fire has identical behavior. Follow the active recipe and station prompt if your interface differs.
